Pirates are loud, and mean, and prone to flying off the handle when you get on their bad side. And things get even worse when they're ghost pirates!
Lewis is 11 years old, and has just moved with his parents into his grandfather's old, falling-down mansion. His new room, at the very top of the house with a great view of the ocean, seems great. Until he meets the seven pirates who also live there. The pirates have a goal: to make their way through the town to the museum where their old pirate ship is on display, steal it, and set sail! And they have decided that Lewis is just the guy to get them there. There's just one minor problem: the pirates are scared. Okay, two minor problems: they're scared, and they look like pirates.
Can Lewis overcome his own problems -- including a bully, his weird parents, and the new girl at school -- in order to help his pirate roommates?
